PulsePoint Respond App Reviews

Great idea, app seems good

I love what this app aims to do, great cause. I find the app relatively easy to use. Id offer the developers the following feedback: 1) I cant figure out how to hear and test the auditory alert this app will presumably produce if Im alerted to a response incident. 2) it appears on the home screen I am following Seattle FD by default, but my settings dont show Im following any agency and I cant figure out how Id select an agency to follow.

A great app for the community

This app is a great thing to have to make you feel safe and make your community safer. Everyone should download it regardless of whether they know CPR or not. The app can even teach you CPR. It shows a map of every incident in your city as well. There are many uses for the app! Get it!

Smart and easy

Not much to it, but thats great. Easy to use, and full of pertinent info as to emergency situations happening locally.

Fascinating!

Ever hear a firetruck screaming down the street and wonder where it was racing to? If so, this app is for you! Also tells you where AED devices are located and if you know CPR you can be alerted in case an event near you could use your skills.

Radio hasnt been working lately

Love the app, but the radio feature hasnt been playing through the phone speakers for about the last month. It will work when connected through Bluetooth, but not standalone. The phone says it is still playing the last audio source, with no takeover by pulsepoint.

Nice app.

Nice app. It would be helpful if "your (my) location" was added to the map of incidents.

Love the APP

Its a great app.

Jason

This is an epic app and I am glad we have it my area now

Great info

Helps me avoid accidents to and from work as well as areas other areas that may be closed or diverted to F/R operations. Geez our Firefighters stay busy!

I cant wait for PulsePoint to come to my City

I love the app, why because it is easy to use. I think everyone should have both PulsePoint and PulsePoint AED. I just wish PulsePoint service was here in Houston, Texas.

Great App!

This app is great, sometimes the push notifications dont come through but other than that its good.

Great app !!

Great app. Very useful for knowing where accidents & fires are for easy detours !! Highly recommend !!!!!

Used to work great

PulsePoint used to work wonderfully but for over 3 months now, it hasnt produced a sound/alert. All my settings are set correctly and without those alerts this app is almost useless.

Great but....

I wish it had the choice of alerting for medicals.

It clarifies where the action is

A handy tool for avoiding collisions and possible traffic back-ups due to fires.

Be prepared

Great app for getting immediately breaking emergency situations in your vicinity.

Great APP for its intended purpose

Wonder if theres any way to track successful uses of first responders on incidents? I agree with the "you are here" icon mentioned in other reviews. (Looks like they have made that change tho) I get alert notifications on some but not all calls in my jurisdiction. Have even received some alerts that never got dispatched. (Since most of the crew has the APP, there have been times that weve all been in the truck geared up waiting for dispatch that never happened). Cant think of anything to mention regarding possible improvements to the APP.

I like it.

I dont love it though. Sometimes, it just drops everything and says it is not available in my area. Duh. It was fine for the last few days. You have to go into the app and dump everything and start over. If they fixed that, five stars in a minute!

Good app, keep expanding

I really like this concept and hope that it continues to expand to more cites/agencies. I would like to see this as a nation wide program. Early CPR, even just compressions, does wonders for overall survival and recovery so anything that brings trained hands to the situation is great. Thank you to everyone who has taken a class and I encourage everyone to do so.

Only want to hear fires

Great app but only want to hear foreground channels not dispatch or EMS channels.
